ABOUT HOSPITAL RADIO IPSWICH:
We provide a radio service to the patients of The Ipswich Hospital, via the Hospedia (formerly Patientline) System (Channel 1). It’s absolutely free to listen to us, all you need to do is register your details with Hospedia, by lifting the handset and pressing the green operator key.
We have been providing this service for 40 years. We are run entirely by volunteers and rely on donations and fund raising to provide the money we need to keep going. If you are interested in joining us we are always looking for people who are willing to commit to helping with ward visiting, fund raising and assisting with our popular roadshow/outside broadcasts. In addition to doing the above there may also be the opportunity to present your own programme. Please contact us if you are interested.
Please feel free to browse through our site to find out more about the service we provide, to make a request for someone staying in the hospital or to find out about joining us.
GANGHAM TIGER
We love to have fun when we are out and about and so does our resident mascot Tiggy Tiger…. here he is joining in with the latest Gangham-style dance at our fundraiser at Asda Whitehouse in Ipswich. We’re glad so many of you are enjoying his dance and look out for more Tiggy Tiger videos, coming soon.
If you would like to have Tiggy Tiger along to enliven your event he is available (for a small donation to our funds). Please get in touch via our Contact Page»
Hospital Radio Ipswich has recently teamed up with Giveacar, the UK’s innovative car donation service.
