ABOUT HOSPITAL RADIO IPSWICH:
We provide a radio service to the patients of The Ipswich Hospital, via the Hospedia (formerly Patientline) System (Channel 1). It’s absolutely free to listen to us, all you need to do is register your details with Hospedia, by lifting the handset and pressing the green operator key.
We have been providing this service for 40 years. We are run entirely by volunteers and rely on donations and fund raising to provide the money we need to keep going. If you are interested in joining us we are always looking for people who are willing to commit to helping with ward visiting, fund raising and assisting with our popular roadshow/outside broadcasts. In addition to doing the above there may also be the opportunity to present your own programme. Please contact us if you are interested.
Ways to Listen to Hospital Radio Ipswich
• From your bedside via the Hospedia unit, you will find us on Channel 1
• From anywhere on a pc, even away from hospital you can continue to enjoy our programmes by listening via our website, by pressing the LISTEN LIVE button at the top of this page or via the Tunein Radio website.
Both services are free to use but may require pre-registration. The quality of the streaming audio may vary depending on your Internet connection and whether you have an up to date browser and Flash player.
