Ipswich Hospital Community Choir on HRI
Next Wednesday 8th December at 20:30 Ipswich Hospital Community Choir will be performing three carols live on Hospital Radio Ipswich. The carols will be sung Acapella which will be recorded and played during programmes over the festive period.
Chair of Ipswich Hospital Community Choir Ian Floodgate said, “When the invite to sing live on Hospital Radio Ipswich came in it seemed like the perfect opportunity to bring some festive cheer to the patients. Our choir members love to perform, especially to support the hospital, but this will be the first time that they have sung live on radio and to have the performance recorded is icing on the cake”.
Our Chair, Patrick Eade is excited at the prospect too. “We are always looking at ways to enhance the service we give to patients and to be able to offer the ‘house choir’, Ipswich Hospital Community Choir, just makes so much sense. The good news is you don’t have to be a patient to hear this live broadcast on Hospital Radio Ipswich. Relatives, friends and anyone who fancies can listen on-line here, or via the TuneIn app or through your smart speaker”.
We recently did 50 hours of live broadcasts to celebrate 50 years of broadcasting to Ipswich Hospitals. You can read more about it here and see pictures of the occasion. read more

In addition to doing the above there may also be the opportunity to present your own programme. Please contact us if you are interested.
